SSHR (Self Service Human Resources)
SSHR is an HR management system using an internet and web browser to deliver functionality to employees and their managers. In SSHR the originator of a task is also the person responsible for that task.
SSHR is an extension of a professional HR forms interface, allowing certain HR, Payroll and Benefits tasks to be carried out by persons other than HR Professionals that is personalized to an individual's roles, experience, work content, language and information needs. Non-IT Professionals can use it without any formal training, i.e., an employee can access and update their own address details, educational qualification, professional awards, set work preference, view payslips, enrol in class, apply for (internal) jobs, and initiate self appraisals.
By transferring the responsibility for the task to the originator of the task, data accuracy is increased and administrative costs are reduced.
